About Our Club

Club Purpose

The Linwood-Bay Sportsman's Club, a non-profit organization, was established in 1950, with the purpose of encouraging organized and safe firearm shooting. We are dedicated to developing and maintaining the essentials of good sportsmanship... honesty, good fellowship, self-discipline, team play and self-reliance. The club is located at 1643 E. Linwood Rd, Linwood, Michigan .

Club Affiliations

We are affiliated with the National Rifle Association (NRA), the Michigan United Conservation Clubs (MUCC), the Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP), the International Defensive Pistol Association (IDPA), the Michigan Coalition for Responsible Gun Owners (MCRGO), the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF), the National Association of Shooting Ranges (NASR) and MSU Cooperative Extension 4-H Shooting Club for the betterment of hunting in our State and Nation, the conservation of our resources and the continuation of shooting sports.

Gun Safety

Gun Safety is our first priority! It is mandatory to wear both eye and ear protection on all ranges. All shooters must know and follow all laws regarding possession, transportation and use of firearms.

  1st - The Gun Is Always Loaded!
  2nd - Never Point A Gun At Something You're Not Prepared To Destroy!
  3rd - Always Be Sure Of Your Target And What Is Behind It!
  4th - Keep Your Finger Off The Trigger Until Your Sights Are On The Target!

Membership

There are two classifications of membership: Family($80), Senior($50). Adult or primary members are required to maintain membership in the National Rifle Association (NRA).
