2010 - Rifle Events
Linwood-Bay Sportsman's Club / SVBBL Matches

There will be two classes for the 2010 Rifle Season

• Match/Service Rifle - 80 Shots(3.3, 3.3.1)
• Garand Class - 50 Shots(3.1, 3.5)

The matches begin with a range cleanup day on April 24. Come on out and help get the range ready. The final event will be on October 3 and will be the annual Fun Match, Meeting and Picnic. Starting Times

• Saturday:  Range Setup/Squadding 8:30am, Match Starts after 9:00am
• Sunday:  Range Setup/Squadding 9:30am, Match Starts after 10:00am

Course of Fire - 80 Shot Matches

• 20 Shots for Record Plus 2 Sighters - Slow Fire Standing
• 20 Shots for Record Plus 2 Sighters - Rapid Fire Sitting
• 20 Shots for Record Plus 2 Sighters - Rapid Fire Prone
• 20 Shots for Record Plus 2 Sighters - Slow Fire Prone

Course of Fire - 50 Shot Matches

• 20 Shots for Record Plus 2 Sighters - Slow Fire Standing
• 10 Shots for Record Plus 2 Sighters - Rapid Fire Sitting
• 10 Shots for Record Plus 2 Sighters - Rapid Fire Prone
• 10 Shots for Record Plus 2 Sighters - Slow Fire Prone

All shooting will be from the 200 yard line using NRA Reduced Bull Targets for the 300 and 600 stages.
Exception: M-1A will shoot from the 300 yard line.

You will have the option, this year, of shooting two matches each weekend.
Shooters have the option to shoot 50 shots in place of 80. The must remain and pull for 80 shots if required. Awards will be based on averages. (See By-Laws R4/08).

NRA Rules will be in effect for all matches, including Rule 9.12 "No Refires" and Rules 10.1.6 and 10.1.7 "Loading".

This year we are going to try a practice night on Wednesdays starting at 4:00pm.
