We are tentatively planning to have the five man and single trap league starting on April 15, 2008 running through September 2, 2008. The five man team shoot will be shot on the first and third Tuesday of the month. The single trap shoot will be shot on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month. The Court on February 28, 2007 issued an order that it was not going to hear the case regarding our new range. Therefore, the decision of the Appeals Court stands and we are not allowed to use the new range. The Board will begin to proceed with plans at its March 22nd meeting to dismantle the range. The agenda will include plans, if any, to upgrade the old range that was to be replaced with the new range. If approved, the club will move ahead with upgrading the old range so that it can be put back into use as soon as possible.
The new range is CLOSED. Anyone caught using the new outdoor range will be subject to expulsion from the club. Please continue to use the Kinney Road range for all of your centerfire rifle shooting. Pistols and rimfire rifles may be shot in the indoor range as well.
Due to recent road construction we are posting some alternate directions to the Kinney Road Range. Please follow these directions from I75.
From I75 turn East on M81, go 4.2 miles to Knight Road. Go North on Knight Road 2 miles to Kinney Road (Stop sign). Turn left (West) and go 1/2 mile to the range.
